LEOMINSTER--Elida A. (Funari) Meade, 94 years old, of Wolfeboro, NH, formerly of Leominster died Monday, September 10, 2012. She is survived by her son Kenneth Meade and his wife Jeanne of Hilton Head Island, SC, her daughter Peg Radley and her husband Tim of Wolfeboro, NH and Saint Simons Island, GA, 2 sisters Aurora Cavaioli and Angela LeMay both of Leominster, 4 grandchildren Kristin Manduca, Sean Meade, Mark Radley and Kate Radley-Ellis and 3great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth Meade in 1997.
Mrs. Meade was born in Leominster on September 7, 1918, daughter of Benedetto and Anastasia (DiPaoli) Meade and had lived in Leominster before moving to Wolfeboro 15 years ago. She had been a waitress at the Il Camino Restaurant in Leominster for 25 years, before retiring several years ago. She was a member of St. Anna’s Church in Leominster.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 2 pm in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral home, 106 West Street, Leominster. Burial will be in St. Leo’s Cemetery, Leominster at a later date.
