LEOMINSTER---Harry William Galloway, loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle of Leominster, died Wednesday, December 21, 2016 in Concord, MA with his family by his side, after an illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Maria Elena (Chavez) Galloway, sons Michael Galloway of Modesto, CA, Harry J. Galloway and Jesus Cortes both of Leominster, daughters Marisa Galloway of Concord and K. Meghan Galloway-Gendron and her husband Jonathan Gendron, Sr. of Leominster, sisters Carol Marquis and Dorothy Emund, grandchildren Adriana Parisi and her husband Christopher, Jonathan Gendron, Jr. and Charlotte Gendron.
Harry was born December 6, 1939 in Woonsocket, RI, son of Harry and Dorothy (Languirand) Galloway and has lived in Leominster for the past 30 years. He served in the U.S. Navy and had worked in the plastics industry for over 30 years. He was a member of St. Leo's parish. Most importantly, he was an amazing husband, father and "Papa" who always put his family first.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 24th at 11 am in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral home, 106 West Street, Leominster. Burial will be at a later date. Calling hours will be held on Saturday prior to the service from 9:30 - 11 am in the funeral home.
