LEOMINSTER-----Timothy G. Flanagan, 49 years old, of Leominster died March 18, 2017 in UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester. He is survived by his sisters, Nancy Flanagan of Leominster, Donna Flanagan-Uusitalo and her husband Mark of Fitchburg and Linda Hier and her husband James of Fitchburg; his brother, Daniel Flanagan of Palmetto, FL, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, father and brother David Flanagan.

Tim was born in Leominster and lived his entire life. Son of William E. and Phyllis A. (Fletcher) Flanagan. He is a graduate of Leominster High Trade, where he specialized in welding. He then attended Mt. Wachusett Community College in Gardner and was on the Dean's List in 1994.

Tim was very proud of his time served in the U.S. Navy, having been stationed on the USS America. He was Assembly Manger at Thermo Plastics Engineering Corp in Leominster for 16 years.

Tim loved his time with his many friends. As everyone knew his biggest joy was when he was out on his Harley-Davidson just going for a ride When you talk to Tim, he always left you wondering. Every conversation had some kind of statement or question to it, that left you thinking. Turn 2 Tim.

Tim’s funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 23rd from the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster with a mass at 11 am in Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main Street, Leominster. Burial will be at a later date. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 22nd from 5-7 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Leominster Veteran’s Center, 100 West Street, Leominster, MA 01453.

Truly sorry to read of Tim's passing, he was way too young. Worked with Tim at L+B , great guy , proud of his Irish heritage. I will keep him in my prayers as well as his family.

To the Flanagan Family, My heart goes out to you and I sent heartfelt condolences to you. Tim's a great guy, he will be missed by all who Knew him and all who met him! A great smile, warm personality and a heart of Gold!
Time to reflect back on all those wonderful memories you have had with Tim and rest assure that Tim will be riding his Harley in the Heavens above with GOD. The next time you hear that *rumble* from above, It's Tim saying hello. RIP Tim and Ride Free! You will be greatly missed!
