LEOMINSTER----Robert C. Keogh, 83 years old, of Leominster, died Friday, September 8, 2017 at the Blaire House of Worcester. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Natalie (Whitney) Keogh, daughter Pamela Keogh of Leominster, sons Randy D. Keogh and his wife Micheline of Englewood, CO, Kevin R. Keogh and his wife Donna of Leominster and Steven J. Keogh and his wife Marie of Leominster, brothers Ronald Keogh of Leominster and Richard Keogh of Oldsmar, Florida, grandchildren Ashley Keogh, Meghan Keogh, Brook Keogh and Nicholas Keogh. He was predeceased by his sister Claire Wright and grandson Kenneth R. Keogh.

Bob was born April 14, 1934 in Leominster, son of C. Chester and Ina V. (Swanson) Keogh and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Leominster High School in 1952 and from Becker Junior College in Worcester. Bob served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Bob was a Certified Public Accountant and was a partner at Grammel and Keogh in Leominster for many years. He was a longtime member of the Pilgrim Congregational Church in Leominster, where he was a former trustee, deacon, treasurer, moderator and a member of the choir. Bob was a member of the Leominster Lodge of Elks, Wilder Lodge of Masons in Leominster, the Aleppo Shriners in Wilmington and various other Masonic groups. Bob had been the treasurer for the Wilder Lodge and the Aleppo Shriners for several years, and also served a term as treasurer at the Shriners Hospital for Children in Boston.

Bob and his wife Natalie enjoyed traveling around the country and internationally over the years. The youth of Pilgrim Church likewise remember many trips with Bob and Nat as chaperones. Bob especially enjoyed sharing lobster/clambakes with extended family and neighbors every summer.

Bob’s funeral service will be held on Friday, September 15th at 10 am in the Pilgrim Congregational Church, 26 West Street, Leominster.  Burial with military honors will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 14th from 5-8 pm in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster. A Masonic service will be held at 5 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to either the Shriners Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom Street, Boston, MA 02114 or the Pilgrim Congregational Church Memorial Fund, 26 West Street, leominster, MA 01453.
