Donald Fetterhoff Obituary

Donald “Donnie” Robert Fetterhoff, 47, Leominster, passed away on April 20, 2024.

Donnie was born on December 6, 1976, the third of four children, to Donald and Sheila Fetterhoff. After graduating from Littleton Junior Senior High School in 1995, Donnie went on to study at North Adams State College. During Donnie’s time at North Adams, in addition to the lifelong friends he made, he pledged to the Kappa Delta Phi Fraternity which he was so proud of.

Upon leaving North Adams, Donnie began his work career at ColorWorks Paint & Decorating/Concord Building & Design Center. Not surprisingly, Donnie was great at what he did and often shared his expertise with family and friends.

Donnie made friends with everyone he encountered, if you knew Donnie, you loved him. He was strong-willed and stubborn at times, but he also had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor. He was generous, loyal, and brave. Donnie was clever and full to the brim with knowledge. The list goes on! He enjoyed camping with his family, watching his boys play and excel in sports, and hanging out with family & friends as much as possible. Donnie really was an on-the-go guy and would do anything for anyone, at any time.

Seventeen years ago, Donnie met Anna Tran. The two married, settled to make a life in Leominster and went on to have two amazing children, Jacob and Joshua. He was so proud of his kids.

Donnie leaves behind his wife, Anna, and two children, Jacob and Joshua; his father, Donald B. Fetterhoff of Farmington, Maine; sister Melissa Fetterhoff of Shirley; brother David Fetterhoff of Shirley; sister Meagan and her husband Dickie Ackroyd of Shirley and their children, nephew Tyler Ackroyd and niece Morgan Ackroyd. He also leaves his aunt Karen Forester, uncle Robert and wife Diane McLaughlin Jr., his cousins Kristin Roiff, CJ Forester and Richard McLaughlin as well as many extended aunts, uncles & cousins. Plus, an extraordinary group of friends.

Donnie is predeceased by his mother Sheila Anne (McLaughlin) Fetterhoff, niece Brianna Ackroyd, nephew Zachary Ackroyd and cousin Robert McLaughlin III.
