Lady Lake, FL/Leominster- Donald A. Kipp, 80, who lived in the Villages of Lady Lake, FL for over 20 years, died February 7, 2024.
Donald graduated from Leominster High School in 1961, where he was quite the athlete playing football, basketball and baseball. After graduation, Donald served 4 years in the U.S. Navy. Donald loved taking his sons and nephew, Tony, fishing on Lake Shirley. He also enjoyed hunting trips with his family to Vermont and New Hampshire. During his time living at the Villages, Donald played golf, pickleball and senior Olympics. He came home to visit his family and classmates every year until his health started failing. Roughly 20 years ago while visiting classmates, he showed them how to play pickleball, a game he loved.
He leaves his wife, Dehua Xiao Kipp; two sons, Donald Kipp and wife, Sue and Michael Kipp; one daughter, Kristin Kipp; eight grandchildren; siblings, Diane DiNardo, Barbara Doran and David Kipp and wife Sheila; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Donald W. and Barbara M. Kipp; a sister, June Hirsch; two brothers-in-law, Dick Doran and Anthony J. DiNardo; a niece, Debra LeBlanc.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 13, at 11:00 A.M. at Evergreen Cemetery, Main St., Leominster.
