Brian F. Tisdale

GARDNER---Brian F. Tisdale, 61 years old, of Gardner, formerly of Leominster, died Monday, July 30, 2018. He is survived by his wife Anne E. (Hoffman) Tisdale; daughter Elizabeth M. Tisdale of Tewksbury; 3 brothers Russell Tisdale, Keith Tisdale both of Las Vegas, Nevada and Alan Tisdale of Jefferson; 4 sisters Lorna Manson, Leslie Mina and Lisa Garfinkel all of Las Vegas, Nevada and Laurie Brideau of Leominster; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Douglas Tisdale in 2014.

Brian was born in Leominster on October 6, 1956, son of Russell E. and Anne B. (Fini) Tisdale and had lived in Gardner for the past 20 years. He was a member of Leominster High School Class of 1974 and served in the U.S. Army. He had driven truck for Oil Express of Chelsea for several years. Brian was a member of the Teamster’s Union Local #25.

Brian was an avid New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan and he was an outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing and kayaking. He also loved playing bocce on Friday night’s at Matt’s house.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018 at 11 am in the Silas F. Richardson Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Leo’s Cemetery, Leominster. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
