Charles A. Kostopoulos

LEOMINSTER--- Charles Anastos Kostopoulos, 67,of Leominster, MA was received by the Lord on January 22, 2018 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.

He is survived by his wife and soul mate of 44 years Alanda (Hawkins) Kostopoulos, his son Charles (Chucky) Louis Kostopoulos the light of his life, his mother in law Cecile (Balducci) Hawkins, sister in law Tammy Hawkins, brother in law Robert (Bob) Healy, nieces Kim Dunn and Nicole Gagnon, nephews Alan Gagnon and James Shiels as well as many great nieces and nephews!

He was a member of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church; he sang in the choir and served on the Parish council.

Chuck spent many years in the food industry serving as a Regional Sales Manager. He loved playing cards at the casino and with his friends at the Leominster Senior Center. He loved traveling with his family. He was a great cook and host! He was happiest with family, friends and a good card game! His most precious time was that spent having a good conversation with his son Chucky.

Chuck was the rock of the family. Everyone knew he was simply a call away.

He was predeceased by his parents Louis and Paraskevy (Doulopoulos) Kostopoulos, his father in law Alan Hawkins, and his beloved sister Gail Healy.

Chuck’s funeral will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 from the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home 106 West St. Leominster, with a 10 am funeral service in Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 1319 Main St. Fitchburg. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Fitchburg. Calling hours will be Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 5 pm -7 pm in the funeral home.
