LEOMINSTER --- Constance (Goodale) Musgrove, 84 years old of Leominster, died Sunday, December 2nd in the Lifecare Center of Leominster.

Connie was born November 12, 1934 in Leominster, MA, a daughter of Carleton and Eleanor (Johnson) Goodale and was a lifelong Leominster resident. She leaves her children, Cindy Pirro Vargo and her husband, Dr. Frank E. of Leominster, Toby Pirro and his wife Stacy, of Bethesda, MD, Julie Cote and her husband Rich of New Durham, NH, Kristie Longo and her husband Chris of Leominster, and Karen Steinmetz and her husband Paul of Leominster. She also leaves her grandchildren, Amanda Esparza, Erica Arsenault, Melissa Martin, Carolyn Cooley and Craig Colby, her sister Andrea Goodale of Leominster, brothers, Paul A. Goodale and his wife Jody, of Middletown, CT, and Arthur “AJ” Goodale and his wife Kathleen, of Las Cruces, NM, 6 great grandchildren, including her great grandson George, and many nieces, nephews and her godchild Elicia Goodale.

Connie was predeceased by her loving husband of 33 years, Kenneth W. Musgrove in 2006 and her son, Thomas Musgrove in 2007.

Connie attended Leominster schools, and graduated from Leominster High School in 1952. She had worked at several area companies, including the former Northlander Inc. of Fitchburg, where she was employed as office manager for 22 years, until the company closed in 1996. She later worked at a local pre-school for several years, and at the former Pheasant Run Ski Area, as a snack bar manager where she was affectionately known as “Ma” to the many people who skied there.

Connie was a lifetime member of Pilgrim Congregational Church in Leominster, where she served for many years as a Sunday school teacher, and superintendent, and worked on various committees and sang in the choir. She was also a member of the executive board of the Leominster High School Alumni Association Scholarship Fund, and served many times on the reunion committee for the LHS Class of 1952. She volunteered at Southeast School, and was a member of the former Temple Chapter # 45, Order of the Eastern Star. She loved the ocean, shopping, cooking for friends and family on Wednesday nights, and going online on her computer. But most important in her life was her family, both immediate and extended. (She likes to think that she will be missed!!)
