Connie was born January 21, 1917 in Leominster, daughter of Luigi and Teresa (Grasso) Ingemi and had lived in Leominster and Fitchburg most of her life. She was a loving, unselfish and caring person who was always willing to help others in need. She cared for her sick daughter until her death at age 16 from a blood disease and also cared for her son Louis well into her ninety’s.
Connie was a great cook. She worked in St. Ann’s School Cafeteria for years cooking great meals for all the children. She also worked at Gotham’s Plastic Company on Airport Road in Fitchburg, where she and her niece Theresa Valera made all the samples for all products that were manufactured there. She had three loving sisters, Diona Farinelli, Edonia Bottalico and Patty Ingemi who loved to get together and cook. Making cookies for the holidays was their favorite family gathering.
Connie’s family would like to thank all the wonderful staff at LifeCare Center of Leominster for all the kindness and attention given her for the four years she resided there. Connie lived a full and meaningful life helping others and never complained, may she rest in peace, her loving family.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, December 2nd at 11 am in St. Anna’s Church, 194 Lancaster Street, Leominster. Burial will be private.
