Dianna Carboni-Piquette Obituary

LEOMINSTER---Dianna L. Carboni-Piquette of Leominster, beloved wife, sister, daughter, and friend passed away Saturday June 10, 2017 at Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas, in the arms of her husband, sister, and brother. She was 39. With warmth beyond measure and a warrior's spirit Dianna bravely fought a four year battle with Lyme disease. Her smile and determination made her fast friends with the many providers she worked with in this journey. She leaves her husband of 15 years and soulmate of 22 years Michael Piquette; Her Mother Grace Piermarini of Leominster; Father Nicholas A. Carboni and his wife Val Lima of Leominster; her siblings Nicholas S. Carboni of Las Vegas, NV, Marina Carboni and her husband Zach Given of Framingham; daughter-in-law to Thomas Piquette and his wife Diane of Bridgewater; sister-in-law to Danielle Waterman and her husband John of Weymouth; aunt to Alexa Given of Framingham and Evan Waterman of Weymouth; niece, cousin, and friend to many.

Dianna was born and raised in Leominster, adored by her parents, beloved little sister to Nick and big sister to Marina, forever close to both. She graduated from Leominster High in 1995 and Assumption College in 1999. Dianna worked after graduation at Fidelity investments, leaving as an assistant client services manager in 2004. She received her Masters in technical and professional writing from Northeastern University in 2005 and was a hardware and software technical writer, sr. technical writer, and manager over the next many years for companies including EMC and Oracle.

Dianna saw beauty everywhere, she loves rainbows and the glow of Christmas lights, the beaches of Maine and stopping to do yoga in the sand, lying under a tree to look up through the leaves. Always active you could find her at the Pilates studio, including becoming a certified instructor in 2012, on the slopes alpine skiing, or in serene wilderness cross-country skiing or hiking. She loved to travel and had a shared passion of the outdoors with husband Mike, nearly inseparable since they met in 1995. Her heart generous and laugh contagious she made lasting friendships.

Dianna spent the last 16 months in the Southwest U.S. in search of healing, she leaves us of purest heart, and purest soul, an angel.
