Donnalee (Briguglio) Merchant

Leominster --- Donnalee Merchant, 75, formerly of Lunenburg, passed away Friday, July 12, 2019 at home surrounded by her family.

She was preceded by her late husband David William Merchant who died July 7, 2007. She was also preceded by her son David William Merchant Jr.

Donna leaves one daughter, Lisa Merchant and her wife Yolanda Walker from Worcester; five grandchildren, Andrew Merchant, Elian Merchant, Adam Bailey, Danielle Prince and Shalanda Walker; three great grandchildren Tristan Walker, Damian Atchue and Jaiden Walker.

After graduating from Mount Wachusett Community College Donna worked for the Bedford VA Hospital for 30 years as a Registered Nurse. She went to work for Arcadia Home Care & Staffing as a Home Health Nurse after retiring from the VA.

Donna was an avid gardener, she loved being surrounded by her plants and flowers. She cherished time with her friends and family. She loved going out and getting lost for the day and was known to enjoy a good martini. She will be sorely missed.

Donna’s family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of the Health Alliance Hospice and the staff of the French Connection for their compassionate care during Donna’s illness.

Calling hours will be in the funeral home on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
