LEOMINSTER --- Dorothy A. (Isaacs) Cutter, 90 years old of Leominster, died Thursday, August 23, 2018 in the Lifecare Center of Leominster.
Dorothy was born May 8, 1928 in New Glasgow Nova Scotia, Canada the daughter of Thomas R. Isaacs and Annie Mae (MacPherson) Isaacs and came to the United States many years ago. She leaves her husband of 38 years, George W. Cutter, 2 daughters, Brenda D. St. Laurent and husband Gerard of Cary, NC and Patricia A. Jeanig and husband Walter of West Townsend , stepson James Cutter and wife Deborah of Dublin, NH, 6 grandchildren, Troy Cutter and wife Chanelle, Alisha Cutter, Stephen St. Laurent and wife Kristen, Brian St. Laurent, Michael St. Laurent and wife Carolyn, and Shelley Beaudoin and husband Jason, 1 great grandson Roman Cutter and her brother, David Isaacs of Nova Scotia, Canada.
Dorothy was predeceased by her 1st husband Richards G. Thomas in 1974, by her brother Richard Isaacs and by her sister Ellen Crooks.
Dorothy graduated from Stellarton High School in Nova Scotia, Canada and worked as a nurse at Leominster Hospital for many years. She was a longtime member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Leominster, and was Past Worthy Matron in the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting and was a voracious reader.
A graveside service for Dorothy will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 1:30pm in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster. There are no calling hours. The Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home 106 West St. Leominster is assisting the family.
