Edward Nadeau Obituary

LEOMINSTER----Edward Alfred Nadeau, 81 years old of Leominster, died Friday, March 2, 2018 in his home after an illness. He is survived by 3 sisters Florence Rousseau of Florida, Claire Morin of Millbury and Elizabeth Pearson of North Carolina; his loving caretaker Ruth Lafleur of Leominster; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 2 sisters Doris Parmenter and Helen Vallee and by his best friend Donald J. Casey.

Edward was born January 6, 1937 in Holyoke, son of Alfred C. and Caroline M. (Jablonski) Nadeau and had lived in Leominster most of his life. He graduated from Leominster High School in 1956 and served in the U. S. Army. Edward had worked at Rand-Whitney in Leominster for many years. He was a member of St. Leo’s Parish and the Leominster Senior Center. He was an avid Bingo player.

Edward’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 6th from the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster with a mass at 11:30 am in St. Leo’s Church, 128 Main Street, Leominster. Burial with military honors will be in St. Leo’s Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 6th from 9:30 - 11 am in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
