Elsie M. Nuñez

FITCHBURG --- Elsie M. Nuñez, 68 years old, was welcomed into heaven on March 29th while surrounded by her loving family. Many were fortunate to know the comfort of her smile, the warmth of her hugs and the sound of her contagious laugh. She will forever be remembered for her kind heart and generosity.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Elsie worked for over 30 years at the Brooklyn Public Library. After retiring she moved to Massachusetts where she continuously volunteered her time and helped her community. Her heart was full of love for her family; especially her granddaughter Claire, who quickly become her biggest joy.

A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of the Lake, 1400 Main Street, Leominster, MA on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 10 am. A burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Staten Island, NY on Tuesday, April 3, where she will finally join her husband after missing him for 24 years.
