LEOMINSTER---Esther Mary (Gentile) DiMarzio, 93 years old, of Leominster, died peacefully Friday, March 16, 2018, in her home surrounded by her family. She is survived by her son Rick J. DiMarzio and his wife Joan of Leominster, daughters Patricia A. Bathgate and her husband David of North Grosvenordale, CT and Christine M. Bick of Leominster, grandsons Dean DiMarzio, Nicholas Preville, Joshua Preville and Nathan Preville, step-grandchildren Douglas McIntosh, David McIntosh and Jason Bathgate, 8 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Pat J. DiMarzio and her brother Charles Gentile.
Esther was born in Leominster on May 29, 1924, daughter of Venanzio and Maria (D’Onofrio) Gentile and was a life-long resident. In 1958, Esther co-founded Krest Products Corporation along with her husband, and was office manager there until she retired at the age of 90. Esther was a member of St. Anna Parish and served on the church’s finance committee. She was a member of the St. Anna Society and was a Eucharistic Minister. Esther was also a board member of Our Father’s Table in Fitchburg.

Esther’s funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 21st from the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster with a mass at 11 am in St. Anna Parish, 194 Lancaster Street, Leominster. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 20th from 5-8 pm in the funeral home
