Jeannette C. (Levesque) Szarek

ARLINGTON--Jeannette C. (Levesque) Szarek, 82 years old, of Leominster, formerly of Arlington, died Friday, May 5, 2017. She is survived by her sons Raymond H. Szarek and his wife Nanita of Newark, NY and Robert J. Szarek and his wife Ann of Leominster, her daughter Christine M. Gamez and her husband Robert of Burlington, 9 grandchildren Rebecca, Daniel, Timothy, Samantha, Nicole, Conor, Kelsey, Deborah and Anna and 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years Henryk “Frenchy” Szarek in 2011 and her brother Normand Levesque.

Jeannette was born in Cambridge on July 27, 1934, daughter of Emile J. and Marie J (Gagne) Levesque and had lived in Arlington before moving to Leominster 8 years ago. She had been an executive secretary for the vice president at W. R. Grace & Company before retiring in 1991. She was a member of St. Cecilia’s Church in Leominster.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster with a mass at 12 noon in St. Cecilia’s Church, 180 Mechanic Street, Leominster. Burial will be in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 9^th from 5-8 pm in the funeral home.
