Katherine M. (Ashe) Donahue

LEOMINSTER ---- Katherine M. (Ashe) Donahue, 41 years old, of Leominster, died Thursday, May 31, 2018 in HealthAlliance Leominster Hospital.

Kate was born January 3, 1977 in Leominster MA, the daughter of James P. Ashe and K. Geraldine (Sproul) Ashe. Besides her father and mother, she leaves her husband of 16 Years, Kevin G. Donahue, her son Aiden, sister Corryanne Ashe of Lunenburg, and her nieces and nephews, Stephon James Pridgen, Jaylynn B. Pridgen, Wayne Donahue and Haley Donahue, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was predeceased by her son Nathan Donahue in 2001.

Kate graduated from Leominster High School in 1995, and attended Northeastern University and Worcester State College earning a Bachelors Degree. She was a member of St. Leo’s Church in Leominster, and the former St. Jean Club. She worked for the Leominster School Department at Skyview Middle School and at the Salvation Army. She enjoyed crafting, playing BINGO, antiquing, going to the casino, traveling, music and going to concerts, and she loved movies.

Kate’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, from the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West St. Leominster, with a 10am funeral mass in St. Leo’s Church , 128 Main St. Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Leo’s Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours in the funeral home are Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 5pm-8pm.
