LEOMINSTER----L. Dorothy (Martineau) Landgraf, 86, of Leominster died on June 3rd at the Life Care Center of Leominster after battling Alzheimer’s disease for many years. Beloved wife of Gerard “Jerry” Landgraf of 56 years. Devoted mother of Julie O’Hara and her husband Mark of Acton, Gary Colecchi and his wife Lee Anne of Gardner, and pre-deceased by her son Dennis Colecchi of Leominster. Cherished grandmother of several grandchildren. Pre-deceased by her siblings Jeannette Baker, Evelyn Dufresne, Gladys Selinga, and J. Russell Martineau. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Dot was born on September 22, 1931 in Fitchburg, the daughter of the late Joseph and Angelina (Violette) Martineau. She graduated from Leominster High School, class of 1950, and was a lifelong resident of the city. Primarily a homemaker who lovingly cared for her children, she also worked as a bookkeeper and a waitress for many years. She was a life member of the Turnpike Road and Gun Club of Ashburnham where she and her husband have many friends. Dot loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed dancing, games and puzzles, traveling, shopping, movies, biographies, and anything that made her laugh. To know Dot was to love her and those who knew her appreciated her great zest for life, her thoughtfulness, and compassion. Dottie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

The family would like to thank her team of caregivers at Summit Eldercare and the Life Care Center of Leominster who attentively and compassionately cared for her in the final years of her life.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass at St. Leo’s Church, 128 Main Street, Leominster on Thursday, June 7th at 11 am. Burial will follow in St. Leo’s Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 6th from 5-7 pm in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster. Memorial donations may be made in Dot’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, Massachusetts/NH Chapter, 309 Waverly Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA 02452 or at www.alz.org.
