LEOMINSTER --- Lola F. (Firmani) Killelea, 97 years old of Leominster, died Monday, January 7, 2019 in the Life Care Center of Leominster.
Lola was born April 27, 1921 in Leominster, a daughter of Guiseppe and Amartina (Angelini) Firmani and was a lifelong Leominster resident. She leaves her son, David B. Killelea of Westminster; her brother Settimo Firmani of Leominster; 4 grandchildren, Neil Killelea, Joel Killelea, Bryan Killelea and Sara Kibling; 4 great grandchildren, Aelyn Kibling, Aubrey Kibling, Ava Killelea and Breanna Killelea; and many nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by her husband Joseph M. Killelea, son Joseph M. Killelea, Jr., in 2016, 3 brothers, Lino Firmani, Emidio Firmani and Lidio Firmani, and 2 sisters, Georgina Racjula and Lucy Firmani.
Lola graduated from Leominster High School and attended Becker Junior College attaining an Associates Degree. She was employed for 37 years for the US Government (Department of the Army) in Payroll Disbursement. She was a member of St. Leo’s Church in Leominster, and enjoyed gardening.
Lola’s Funeral will be held on Friday, January 11th from the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West St. ,Leominster, with a funeral mass at 11 am in St. Leo’s Church, 128 Main St., Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Leo’s Cemetery, Leominster. A calling hour will precede the funeral mass from 9:30- 10:30 am.
