Patrick M. Cefalo

FITCHBURG --- Patrick M. Cefalo, 64 years old of Fitchburg, died Monday May 1, 2017 in his home after a lengthy illness.

Patrick was born April 15, 1953 in Fitchburg, the son of Anthony F. and Margaret P. (Hartwell) Cefalo. He leaves his son Timothy Cefalo of Orange, his brother Richard Cefalo of Boston and Boca Raton, Florida, 2 sisters, Barbara Bergeron and her husband Leo of Gardner and Margaret Cefalo of Leominster, many nephews, nieces and cousins.

He was predeceased by his wife Kathy M. (Dobson) Cefalo in 2014, his brother Anthony Cefalo and 3 sisters, Carol Cefalo, Joanne Salvatore and Lucy Cefalo-Berry.

Patrick graduated from Leominster High School in 1972, and Fitchburg State College in 1983, with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He worked as truck driver for his family business, Cefalo Brothers Fruit & Produce, later going to work for Garelick Farms, and part time as a school bus driver for Village Transportation. He was a member of St. Anna Church in Leominster. Patrick enjoyed collecting cars, going to Boston Red Sox games with his son, going to the beach and being with his family.

Patrick’s funeral will be held on Saturday, May 13^th from the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster with a mass at 11 am in St. Anna Church, 194 Lancaster Street, Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Fitchburg.  A calling hour will be held on Saturday, May 13^th from 9:30- 10:30 am in the funeral home.
