LEOMINSTER --- Richard D. Hebert, 72 years old of Leominster, died Sunday, December 9, 2018 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer, in UMass~ University Campus, Worcester MA.
Richard was born May 4, 1946 in Leominster, the son of Desire J. Hebert and Dorothy I. (Racine) Hebert. He leaves his wife of 48 years, Joyce A. (Hatton) Hebert, 2 sons, Michael J. Hebert of Leominster, and Richard J. Hebert and his wife Justine of Athol, his sister Susan Hebert of Leominster, sisters in law, Judy Gevry of Florida and Ethel Samia and her husband Dave of Leominster, his granddaughter Madison Hebert, and many awesome nieces and nephews.
Richard graduated from Leominster High School ~ Class of 1965. He was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, enlisting in 1966 and was honorably discharged as a SGT (E-5), in 1968. He worked for many years as the Service Director at North End Auto in Lunenburg MA. He was an avid golfer, loved spending time in Aruba, golfing with his sons and brothers in law, and spending time with the apple of his eye, his granddaughter Madison Hebert.
Calling hours for Richard will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 from 10-12pm in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home 106 West St. Leominster. Burial is private.
