LEOMINSTER---Robert W. Kirouac, Sr., 90 years old of Leominster, died September 18, 2016 in his home after an illness. He is survived by 3 sons Alfred F. Kirouac and his wife Kelly, Robert W. Kirouac, Jr. and his wife Linda and Daniel P. Kirouac and his wife Melinda all of Leominster, 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Agnes W. (Port) Kirouac in 2012 and his son Charles A. Kirouac in 2003.
Robert was born September 24, 1925 in Leominster, son of Wilfred and Cecile (Viens) Kirouac and was a life long resident. He was a World War II U.S. Navy Veteran and had owned and operated B.K.W. Blacktop Company in Leominster for many years. He was a member of Holy Family of Nazareth Parish in Leominster, the Leominster Homing Pigeon Club and was a life member of the Leominster Lodge of Elks.
Robert’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 21st from the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster with a mass at 11:30 am in Holy Family of Nazareth Church, 750 Union Street, Leominster. Burial with military honors will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday morning from 9 - 11 am in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to HealthAlliance Home Health & Hospice, 60 Hospital Road, Leominster, MA 01453.
