LEOMINSTER --- Ronald R. Bergeron, 81 years old, of Leominster died Friday, November 10, 2017, in Health Alliance Leominster Hospital.
Ron was born April 10, 1936, the son of Raymond and Della (St Jean) Bergeron. He leaves his wife of 46 years, Ann T. (Moran) Bergeron, 2 sons, Derek R. Bergeron and his wife Kimberly of Florida, and William R. Bergeron of Leominster. 2 daughters, Raeann C. Peterson and her husband Andrew of Fairfax Virginia, and Betty L. Bergeron of Leominster, 2 brothers, Stanley Bergeron of Uxbridge, and Larry Bergeron of Washington, and his sister Arlene Enright of Leominster, 5 grandchildren, Morgan Peterson, Caleb Bergeron, Brayden Bergeron, Maris Peterson, and Emily Bergeron, and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his brother Gerald Bergeron.
Ron graduated from Saxon Trade School of Leominster High School in 1955. He worked as a union carpenter for Local 48- Fitchburg, throughout Massachusetts. He was a member of St Cecilia’s Church in Leominster, Fraternal Order of Eagles- Aerie # 477, where he was past worthy president, and the Nashua Valley Boy Scouts of America. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his family, and was a New England sports fan.
A funeral service for Ron will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 10am, in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home 106 West St. Leominster. Burial is private. Calling hours in the funeral home are Wednesday evening November 15, 2017 from 5pm-7pm.
