Ruth "Buddy" (Enholm) Tainter

LEOMINSTER---Ruth "Buddy"(Enholm) Tainter, 101 years old, of Leominster, died Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at the Keystone Center, Leominster. She is survived by wo daughters, Heidi Tainter of Leominster, and Wendy Becker and her husband Bradford of Petersham; a grandson Ryan Pellecchia and his wife Sandy of Leominster; and a great grandson Cameron Pellecchia of Leominster. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph B. Tainter in 1996, and her sister Florence "Jimmy" Woods.

Ruth was born on July 7, 1917 in Leominster, daughter of Robert and Beatrice (Farnsworth) Enholm and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Leominster High School and had worked as a telephone operator for New England Telephone for many years. She also worked in real estate with her husband. "Buddy" had been a volunteer at the gift shop at Leominster Hospital and worked at the voting polls in Leominster for many years. She was happiest when entertaining their large circle of friends, playing cards, spending time in Florida, and attending grandson Ryan's baseball games.
