Angela (Funari) LeMay of Leominster, MA; 91

LEOMINSTER – Angela (Funari) LeMay, 91 of Leominster, MA passed away peacefully Monday, January 9, 2017 with her family at her side.

She was born November 28, 1925 in Leominster, MA daughter of Benedetto and Anastasia (DiPaoli) Funari.

Angela was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She spent her life caring for her husband, children and grandchildren. She always put family first. She served on the Leominster Hospital Guild for several years. Angela loved to knit, crochet and needlepoint. She spent many years wintering in Florida. She was an avid golfer and loved trips to the casino.

Angela is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ralph W. LeMay; her children, Karen E. Tonole and husband John of Leominster, MA, Ralph W. LeMay and wife Eva of Leominster, MA, RaeAnn J. Eydenberg and husband Robert of Leominster, MA and Richard J. LeMay and husband Michael McGowan of New York; her grandchildren, Jason R. LeMay and wife Vanessa, Anthony Eydenberg and Marina Proietti and husband Daniel; her great-grandchildren, Nadia and Natalia Vaello, Jason LeMay and Sadie Rae Proietti; her sister, Aurora Cavaioli; and her sister-in-law, Anita Testa. She also leaves several nephews and nieces.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, January 12, 2017, at the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster from 9:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. Dearest Ralph and Family,
I was so very sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved Mom. Please excepy my deepest heart felt sympathy. May Gods love and grace comfort you during this very sad time in your lives. Moms are such a special part of our lives and I know she will be saddly missed.
