SHIRLEY ---- Michelle “Mickey” Rose (Raux) Kennedy, 59 years old, of Shirley, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 10th at Mass General Hospital in Boston.

She was born June 12, 1957 in Herkimer, NY, the daughter of the late, Theodore Raux, Jr. and Shirley (Johnson) Hoage. She leaves her husband of 8 years, Randy Kennedy, daughters Shelly Bates and her husband Steven Bates, Jr., Rebecca Bigeau and her husband Nickolas Bigeau, Stephanie Jones and her husband Gareth Jones, Meaghan Raux and her significant other Adam Van Gemert. Stepchildren, Randy Kennedy and his fiancé Lindsey Mccance, Amanda Kennedy, Steven Kennedy, Ryan Kennedy and Matthew Kennedy, Heather Meattey, and Brian Meattey and his significant other Danielle Fagnant. Her grandchildren, Kayla, Cody, Jacob, Logan, Aiden, Nickolas, Rosalyn, Cassandra, Ryan, Jackson, Olivia, Jillian and Sadie. Her siblings, Barbara, Raymond, Ruth, Jacqueline, Kathryn, Brenda, Theodore III, Thomas and Cherish. Her mother and father in law Gertrude Flagg and Walter Kennedy, and many nephews and nieces.

Mickey loved spending time with her family. Her family was everything to her. She was a fighter, the strongest women you could ever of had the pleasure of knowing. Selfless, she would do anything for anyone even if it meant she went without, She was an amazing Mom, Grammy and Wife and was a loving friend to all. She enjoyed going to Maine, the beach for fireworks and music, flowers, shopping, loom knitting, cross stitching, and most importantly spending time with her family.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 24th, at 11 am in St Mark’s Episcopal Church, 60 West. St., Leominster. A gathering will follow in the Leominster Veterans Center, 100 West St., Leominster. There are no calling hours. The Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West St., Leominster is assisting the family.
