LEOMINSTER--Magella “Maggie” Y. (Michaud) Jackson, 87 years old of Clinton, formerly of Leominster, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Monday, June 18, 2018 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester. She will be dearly missed by daughter Valerie Theobald and her husband Thomas of Bolton; son Robert Jackson and his wife Elizabeth of Raleigh, NC; and two grandchildren Emily Theobald-Phillips and her husband Jeffrey Phillips of Florida and Peter Jackson of North Carolina. A beloved aunt, Maggie will be missed by her many siblings, nieces and nephews. She was married to her loving husband of 64 years John H. Jackson who passed away in 2016.

Maggie was born June 24, 1930 in Nashua, NH, daughter of Lucien and O’Diana (Roy) Michaud and had lived in Leominster for many years. She graduated from Infant Jesus High School in Nashua. She was a devoted member of St. Leo’s Parish in Leominster.

Maggie’s funeral service will be held on Friday, June 22nd from the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster with a mass at 12 pm in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union Street, Clinton. She will be laid to rest at Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon. Please join her family for calling hours on Thursday, June 21st from 5-8 pm in the funeral home. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to either the Rose Monahan Hospice House, c/o VNA Care, 120 Thomas Street, Worcester, MA 01608 or Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Attn: Contributions Services 6th Floor, 10 Brookline Place West, Brookline, MA 02445.
