|To Rollin's Dear Family,
Lee and I both so enjoyed visiting Rollin (including at his "camp") and him visiting us on those several meetings. He was so genuinely hospitable, kind, and interested in life and in us as part of his life's experience and in our connection to Kris and her family that it really warmed our hearts. We also saw for ourselves and remember so many of Kris's stories of how lovingly he supported Kimmy and crusaded for better opportunities for special needs individuals and their families on her behalf. He often invited us to visit him again, and we know it came from his heart. Unfortunately, we spent our vacation time and money on visiting grandchildren, so it didn't work out. But we talked to him on the phone from time to time and always had lovely conversations. (And what a beautiful rich voice he had!) We know you all will remember fondly your family times with him at the beach and camp and in his home, and his interest in you all being around him. We know you will think often of the examples he set of service and care and generosity in living your own lives. We send our deepest condolences to you on your loss and much appreciation for our own opportunity to get to know him!
