Albert D. Thibaudeau Sr.

The family of Albert D. Thibaudeau Sr is sad to announce the passing of their beloved husband and father on November 17, 2023 after a long illness.

Albert was born July 29,1947, in Leominster MA. the son of Leopold and Germaine Thibaudeau. He leaves his wife of 54 years, Joanna M. (Ingemi) Thibaudeau, and 3 children, Albert Jr. and his wife Tracy of Winchendon, David Thibaudeau of Fitchburg, and his daughter Tia and her husband Brian Doiron of Leominster, as well as his Goddaughter Dawn and her husband Wally Wright of Townsend, and his daughter in law, Dawn Rivard of Florida, and his brother Roger and his wife Jessie of Maryland, sister-in-law Diane Thibaudeau of Gardner and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by siblings, Leo “Tootsie” Thibaudeau, Theresa Mahan, Joseph Thibaudeau, Viola “Vi” Yuergons, and Doris Bunton.

Albert was a United States Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, serving from August 26, 1966 ~ April 30, 1969. He received the Good Conduct Medal, Vietnamese Service Medal with 3 Stars, Vietnamese Campaign Medal with Device, National Defense Service Medal and Rifle Marksmanship Badge.

Albert was a true patriot and was very proud of the time he served in the United States Marine Corps.

Private services, with Marine Corps honors will be held at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Marine Corps Veterans Association.
