Alfred McCracken Obituary

FITCHBURG---Alfred E. McCracken, 80 years old, of Fitchburg, formerly of Clinton, died on Thursday, December 24, 2020 in Fitchburg Health Care Center. He is survived by his life partner Phyllis (Bica) Dupuis with whom he lived, 2 sons Sean McCracken and his wife Crystal of Marlboro and Mark McCracken of Marlboro. He was predeceased by his son Scott McCracken.

Al was born in Clinton on December 11, 1940, son of Ernest W. and Lillian E. (Bemis) McCracken and had lived in Clinton until moving to Fitchburg a few years ago. He graduated from Clinton High School and was a U.S. Army Veteran. Al was a licensed electrician and had owned and operated McCracken Electric Company for several years. Al was a big Elvis Presley Fan and he and Phyllis had visited Graceland.

Funeral services and burial in Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon are private.
