Amber Mary Belton, born on May 22, 1996, of Westminster, MA, age 26, gained her angel
wings on January 5, 2023, after a long battle with addiction. Amber was an exceptionally caring
mother, daughter, sister, and friend.
Although Amber’s life was far too short, those of us who were blessed to know her understood
what it was to be touched by her kindness and love. Her vibrant energy, easygoing demeanor,
love, and compassion made her who she was. She would always light up a room with her
outgoing personality, and breathtaking beauty, which was both inside and out.
She graduated from Oakmont High School in 2014. Although she was very talented in art, this
was where she found her love of working with disabled children in the school program.
She found it her calling to work with the developmentally disabled community at the Seven
Hills Foundation, and The Arc. She took great pride in her job, and her desire to learn and grow
was immeasurable. She also loved to help others with their addiction struggles and was always
willing to talk to a friend in need to comfort and uplift them.
Amber loved her son above all else, he was her life. They were best friends, and inseparable.
The bond they shared is beyond words. She also enjoyed going to the beach in Ogunquit, ME
with her family, practicing faith, and spending time with friends.
She leaves behind her Son, Wesley D. Baquerizo of Westminster, her loving parents, Tobey R.
Belton, and Donna (Richard) Belton of Westminster, MA, a brother, Tobey R. Belton Jr. of MA,
Grandmother, Mildred Belton of Leominster, Grandparents, Claude and Marie Richard of
Gardner, a predeceased special cousin, Wesley Jay Bradshaw, whom her Son was named after,
many loving Aunts and Uncles, many cousins, and close friends. She will be missed dearly by all
who knew her.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 20th from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., with a service
immediately following at the Richardson Funeral Home, 106 West St., Leominster, MA 01453.
