Angela DiPaoli Obituary

Ms. Angela Marie DiPaoli, passed away on September 7, 2024, at the age of 82. Born on January 8, 1942, Angela’s journey came full circle as she departed from the same city that had been her lifelong home. Her passing, marks the end of a life lived with unwavering warmth and an infectious zest for life.

Angela was the cherished daughter of Chester and Finalba DiPaoli and grew up surrounded by the love and laughter of her siblings, Savina Harrington, Deborah Nass and the late Peter DiPaoli. Her sister-in-law, Margaret (Peggy) DiPaoli, was also like a sister to her. She was predeceased by her loving brothers-in-law, Robert Harrington and Frank Nass.  She was a beacon of joy and guidance to her nieces and nephews: Heidi Sullivan (Mark), Holly Gram (Jeff). Peter DiPaoli (Erin), Stephanie Santucci (Steven), Karen Cuddahy (Colin), and Ryan Nass (Abigail) all of whom will carry the essence of her spirit forward. Her 14 great nieces and nephews will never forget "Auntie Angela”.

A proud graduate of Leominster High School, Angela’s education laid the foundation for her enduring spirit of community involvement and her commitment to hard work. She spent many fulfilling years at the American Can Company, where her dedication and friendly demeanor were well known. Angela’s love of connection was further evident through her years as manager of The Italian American Center and her time at The Bootlegger Restaurant, where both colleagues and patrons became like family to her.

Angela’s life was a tapestry of the relationships she nurtured and the experiences she savored. Her love for spending time with family and friends was paramount, and those who knew her will fondly remember the countless gatherings filled with laughter and stories. Angela’s adventurous spirit led her to travel, exploring new places and cultures, with her lifelong best friend, the late Gail Breau.

One of Angela’s most remarkable qualities was her innate ability to make those around her happy. Her presence was a source of comfort and joy. Angela’s legacy is one of love, kindness, and the simple ability to brighten someone's day with her smile.

As we bid farewell to Angela, we celebrate a life that exemplified the power of a generous heart. Angela’s life was a gift to us all, and though we mourn her passing, we also express our deepest gratitude for the privilege of knowing her. Rest in peace, Angie, until we meet again!
