LEOMINSTER --- Anthony M. Pulsinelli, 94 years old of Leominster, died Friday, December 25, 2020 in Holden Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, after an illness.
Anthony was born January 17, 1926 in Castelo di Alvito, Italy, the son of Luigi and Teresina (Lanza) Pulsinelli, and came to the United States in 1929. He leaves his daughter, Dian T. Grote and her husband Marvin of Leominster, two granddaughters, Karen West of South Hadley, and Kristina Patenaude of Stratham New Hampshire, three great- grandchildren, Olivia and Vivian West, and William Patenaude, two sisters, Maria Pulsinelli of Leominster, and Liberata Hoelzer of Denver Colorado.
He was predeceased by his wife Murie T. (Arseneault) Pulsinelli, and his brother Donato Pulsinelli.
Anthony was employed by the City of Leominster Highway Department for 46 ½ years, retiring in 1996 as the Superintendent. He was a US Navy Veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific Theatre. He received the World War II Victory Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Medal, and American Theater Medal.
Anthony was a member of St. Anna Church in Leominster, and the Leominster Senior Citizens. He enjoyed doing carpentry, stone work, vacationing in Florida, playing cards and Pinocle. He was a very loving hardworking, generous, family man.
