Antonetta Caisse Obituary

Antonetta M. (Franciose) Caisse. Longtime resident of Leominster, MA passed away peacefully on Friday, January 29, 2021 in Dunedin, Florida. Born on September 8, 1933 in Leominster, MA, Antonetta was one of seven children born to Filippo and Maria (Clemente) Franciose. She graduated from Leominster High School in 1951, where she played on the girls’ basketball team. She was married to her husband, Roger E. Caisse for 32 years, until his passing in 1989. Antonetta worked for many years in the office of Victory Super Markets, and she finished her career working as a bookkeeper for Geronimo Associates, retiring in 1993. She loved music, line dancing, and yard sales. She was known for baking her Italian cookies during the holidays.

Antonetta is survived by her three sons and their spouses, Michael R. Caisse (Bryan) of Hollywood, FL, Joseph G. Caisse (Susan) of Safety Harbor, FL, Jeffrey G. Caisse (Nancy) of Sarasota, FL and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Antonetta was preceded in death by her three brothers, Joseph, Michael and Robert Franciose and her three sisters, Melinda Franciose, Nicolina Merriam and Ann Lapomardo. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 10 am in St. Leo’s Church, 128 Main Street, Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Leo’s Cemetery, 360 Lancaster Street, Leominster.
