Armand Fougere

Armand Fougere, a beloved husband, father, grandpa, brother, and friend, was called home on November 26, 2025, at the age of 84. Born on September 22, 1941, in the peaceful community of Shediac Bridge NB, Armand lived a life marked by love, laughter, and generosity. He passed away at his home, surrounded by the love of his family.

Armand shared 60 beautiful years of marriage with his cherished wife, Bernice (Leger). He leaves behind a son Armand M. Fougere Jr., daughter Tina Atkinson (Fougere) and husband Thomas Atkinson, and five beloved grandchildren he treasured, a brother Albert Fougere and wife Florence (Cormier), and sister Dolorice Mungello (Fougere).

Professionally, Armand was a skilled carpenter, a craftsman who built not just structures but also, strong relationships within his community. His work was a testament to his attention to detail and his commitment to excellence. Armand’s hands were rarely still, as he was often found creating, fixing, or improving something for someone in need. He was always eager to lend his expertise for the benefit of others.

Those who knew Armand will remember him as a loving, funny, and generous man. His sense of humor brought joy to many, and his generosity knew no bounds. Armand’s presence was a source of comfort and happiness, and his memory will continue to inspire those who were blessed to know him.

Though he will be deeply missed, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those he touched. As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life well-lived, a life that exemplified the love and grace of God. We take solace in knowing that Armand is now at peace in the arms of our Heavenly Father, where he will rest for eternity.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in the funeral home. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 3:00 PM.
