LEOMINSTER---Arnesto R. Lattanzio, 82 years old, a resident of Leominster, MA passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers. He was born October 23, 1934 in Leominster, MA to Angelo and Victoria (Saienni) Lattanzio, now deceased.
He is survived by his five loving children, Thomas R. Lattanzio and his wife Michelle of Princeton, MA, Linda M. Escobedo of Coronado, CA, John J. Lattanzio and partner Ann Boulay of Westminster, MA, Judith A. O’Connor and husband Fred of South Weymouth, MA, and Daniel E. Lattanzio and wife Laura of Leominster, MA; brother, Nunzio J. Lattanzio and wife Marie of Leominster, MA and sister, Rita S. Kane and husband John of Centerville, MA; 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Natalie Marinelli, his brother Joseph Lattanzio, his brother James Lattanzio and son in law Benjamin Escobedo.
Ernie graduated from Leominster High School in 1952 and enlisted in the Army National Guard, where he was a second lieutenant until discharged in 1960. He married Janet Berthiaume of Leominster, MA in 1959 and had five children while managing his many family businesses.
During his retirement he spent most of his time in La Jolla, CA playing golf at Torrey Pines Golf Course. He was a charismatic man that made many connections and left lasting impressions wherever he went. His magnetic personality, persevering attitude, renowned life, love for his family and friends and business sense will be forever in our memories and will be dearly missed by all who knew him and loved him as he rests in peace.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 6th at 10 am in St. Anna’s Church, 194 Lancaster Street, Leominster. Burial will be in St. Leo’s Cemetery, Leominster.
