Aubrey A. Jackson Jr.

PORTSMOUTH NH --- Aubrey A. “Jack” Jackson Jr; 89 years old, of Portsmouth NH, passed away peacefully, June 18, 2022 in Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

Jack was born October 26, 1932 in Fitchburg MA, the son of Aubrey A. Jackson Sr; and Mabel (Johnson) Jackson, and lived in Fitchburg, before moving to Leominster and later to Portsmouth.

He graduated from Fitchburg High School in 1950, and proudly served in the US Army from 1952-1955 as a Medic. In his early years Jack worked for Weyerhauser Paper Company, before going to work for Digital Equipment Corp, for many years as a Distribution Supervisor. He also worked at Mason Bowling Center for close to 25 years.

Jack enjoyed working out at the “Y’, his tomato garden, the beach, watching the Red Sox & Patriots, he coached little league baseball, and of course loved country music. Summer vacations at Old Orchard Beach was always a given.

Jack is survived by his wife Marcia (Leblanc) Jackson, his children, Steven, Laura, Mark, Barry and his wife Deb, daughter in law Trish, grandchildren, Meghan, Nicole, Maggie, Gordon, step daughter Britni Brosker & husband Brandon, as well as a special part of the family Davian.

He was predeceased by his son Brad, and his grandson Stephen.
