Aurele J. Bourque

LEOMINSTER- Aurele J. Bourque, 89, of Leominster, died Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Life Care Center of Leominster.

Aurele was born November 23, 1933, in St. Anthony, New Brunswick, Canada, son of the late Pierre and Marie Rose Bourque. He worked at ITT Suprenant for over 40 years and enjoyed fishing and trips to Foxwoods. Most importantly though, he was a devout Catholic and member of St. Cecilia’s Parish.

He leaves his wife of 64 years, Germaine (Richard) Bourque; two sons, Daniel Bourque and wife Rebecca of Templeton and Paul Bourque and wife Debbie of Marlborough; three grandchildren, Mitchell Bourque, Natalie Bourque and Jack Bourque; many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a son, Joseph, and two brothers, Edgar and Desire Bourque.

A funeral Mass will be held Monday, November 6, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Cecilia’s Church, 180 Mechanic St., Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Cecilia’s Cemetery.
