Barbara A. (Duval) Burque

Barbara A. Burque, 81, of Leominster, MA, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2025.

Born and raised in Fitchburg, Barbara graduated from St. Bernard’s High School and went on to earn her nursing degree from Fitchburg State College. She dedicated over 20 years of compassionate service to Burbank Hospital, where she took great pride in caring for others.

Barbara was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished time spent with her family and close friends. She found joy in gardening and the simple pleasures of life, always offering warmth, kindness, and quiet strength to those around her.

She is survived by her daughter Lisa and her husband Michael, her son Christopher, and her beloved grandchildren, Gianna, Ella, and Ashley. She was predeceased by her son Michael, her parents Beatrice and Raoul Duval, and her brother Richard Duval.

Burial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
