Barbara Cramb Obituary

LEOMINSTER—Barbara J. (Roach) Cramb, 90 years old of Leominster, formerly of Groton, MA. passed away peacefully November 7th, surrounded by her family.

Barbara was born August 16, 1931, in Wakefield, MA, the daughter of John and Marion (Hart) Roach, and moved to Groton where she raised her family, and where she served as the Assistant Tax Collector for the Town of Groton. She was a long-time parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Groton, and was active in the Women’s Club, Cub Scouts and several other community organizations and events.

Barbara is survived by her 6 children; daughter, Diane Vuono and her husband Peter of Brockton, MA; daughter, Carolyn Shope of Seminole, FL.; son, Frank Cramb of Leominster, MA; daughter, Lauren Stevens and her husband David of Townsend, MA; daughter, Noelle Durling and her husband Thomas of Leominster, MA; and daughter Catherine Fulton of New Milford, CT. She also leaves behind 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Franklin G. Cramb Jr; her son David H. Cramb and her 5 siblings.

Barbara’s funeral will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 from the Richardson Funeral Home, 106 West St., Leominster, with a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main St., Leominster. Burial will follow in Groton Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday, November 12, 2021, from 4-7 p.m.
