Bernice “Bee” E. Dubois-Bourget, 82, of Leominster, passed away on November 11, 2023. She was born on October 27, 1941 to Lawrence Desjarlais and Anna (Powers).
Bee devoted many years of her career as a statistical clerk to Medfield State Hospital. She found joy in the company of friends and the simple pleasures of life. Enjoying many family vacations camping on the beach and fishing, she spent her retirement gardening, playing cards with friends, and spending time with her family.
Bee’s legacy is carried forward by her loving daughter, Angelic Tofteroo, and son-in-law Matthew of Leominster. Her memory is also cherished by two brothers, Joseph Desjarlais of Arizona and Michael Desjarlais of the Philippines, and two sisters, Rita Ballou of Rhode Island and Mary Lou Russell of Florida. Additionally, she leaves behind three beloved grandchildren Alexis Gilroy, Christian Tofteroo, and Kaeden Tofteroo, and many nieces and nephews.
Bernice was predeceased by her first husband Charles H. Dubois, her second husband Joseph Bourget, daughter Melissa T. Masse, brothers Leo Desjarlais, Thomas Desjarlais, Robert Desjarlais, sisters Dolores Dickie and Gloria Jean Desjarlais.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 25 from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. with a service to follow in the funeral home.
