LEOMINSTER --- Bessie M. (Johnson) Lucier, 91 years old of Leominster, died Tuesday, February 4, 2025 in Sterling Village. Bessie was born January 17, 1934 in Shirley MA, the daughter of Claus G. Johnson & Olive E. (Frary) Johnson and was a lifelong resident of Leominster.
She leaves her daughters, Diane Caissie and her husband Kenny of Leominster and Donna Regan and her husband Leslie of Templeton, 3 grandchildren, Jason Regan and his wife Michelle, Jeremy Regan and his wife Jill and Stephanie Hultslander and her wife Kristi, and 2 great grandchildren, Ben and Ella Regan.
Bessie was predeceased by her husband Donald Lucier in 1994, and by her sister and 3 brothers. Bessie graduated from Leominster High School in 1952. She worked at the former Iandoli Market in Leominster for 10 years, and Merchants Bank in Leominster for 10 years, later going to work at CVS.
Bessie`s funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from Richardson Funeral Home, 106 West St. Leominster, with a funeral Mass at 10am at St. Cecilias Church, 180 Mechanic St. Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Cecilias Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours in the funeral home are Monday, February 10th from 5 ~7pm.
