Bobbi - Jo Smith, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on March 12, 1958, in Leominster, Bobbi - Jo's life was a testament to her strength and her unwavering spirit.
Bobbi - Jo was the cherished wife of Barry Smith, with whom she shared 46 years of marriage filled with devotion and mutual respect. Together, they built a family that was her pride and joy. She was a loving mother to her son, Brandon Smith, and his partner, Kayla Perea, and to her daughter, Bonnie Shea, and her husband, Christopher Shea. Her mother Betty (D’Innocenzo) Lindsey. Her brother, Michael Lindsey, and sister, Patricia Corliss, along with her nephews, Christopher and Michael Corliss, and many cousins, will fondly remember her vibrant presence. She was predeceased by her father John “Jack” Lindsey, and her daughter, Mary.
Bobbi - Jo's love extended to her adored grandchildren, Kyle and Brittany-Rose Smith, and her treasured great-grandchildren, Kylie-Rose Anderson, Alivia-Rose Patten, and Lucas Patten Jr. She embraced every moment with them, and her memory will forever be etched in their hearts.
Professionally, Bobbi - Jo dedicated many years of service as a nursing aide at Fairlawn Nursing Home, where she provided care and comfort to those in need.
Her spirit of service extended beyond her professional life, as she volunteered with the Leominster Pop Warner concessions. Bobbi - Jo was a fighter, having battled many illness for many years with the same tenacity she brought to every aspect of her life. She was a firecracker, full of life and always ready to share a joke or a smile.
Bobbi Jo's interests reflected her love for the outdoors and her joy in simple pleasures. She cherished the summers spent at the beach, whether it was in York, Maine, or Cape Cod, where the sun and sand brought her immeasurable happiness.
Described as kind, courageous, and funny, Bobbi -Jo's legacy is one of unwavering positivity and resilience. Her ability to find humor in the face of adversity, to extend a helping hand to those in need, and to cherish every moment with her loved ones defines the beautiful life she led.
Bobbi - Jo Smith's life was a journey of love, laughter, and enduring strength. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Her light will continue to shine in the lives of those she loved, guiding them with her memory and the profound impact she made on their lives.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 8 in Evergreen Cemetery at 9:30 A.M.
