Brenda Apiri, age 32, of Worcester, MA, passed away on May 14, 2024, in Worcester, MA. She was born on October 25, 1991, in Kenya, Africa, to Lillian Momanyi and Henry Apiri.
Brenda graduated from Socorro High School in Socorro, New Mexico, class of 2010, and went on to attend the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where she majored in Child Psychology and ABA Therapy. Brenda was known for her dedication to her studies and her passion for helping children, particularly those facing challenges.
A beloved daughter and sister, Brenda leaves behind her mother, Lillian Momanyi, her father, Henry Apiri, and her three sisters, Oliviah, Purity, and Zuriah. Her family was the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Brenda had a profound love for fashion and makeup, always taking the opportunity to get glammed up. She dreamed of becoming a fashion designer and had a special fondness for the color pink. Brenda was known for her caring and kind nature, always ready to help others. She loved children and enjoyed watching her little cousins and sister, bringing joy and laughter into their lives.
She was deeply passionate about making the world a better place for troubled youth, offering them guidance and support. Her sense of humor was unmatched, and she had a quick wit that could brighten anyone's day. Brenda was known for giving solid advice, especially regarding relationships, and she loved deeply and unconditionally.
Brenda's faith was a cornerstone of her life. She loved the Lord and was a baptized member of the Seventh-day Adventist faith. She was a cherished member of the Leominster Seventh-day Adventist Church, where she loved being part of the praise team. She also volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club, demonstrating her commitment to her community and her desire to make a positive impact.
A wake to celebrate Brenda's life will be held on Thursday, June 6, from 5-7 PM at Richardson Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster, MA, 01453. A funeral service to celebrate Brenda's life will be held at Leominster All Nations Church, 77 Hall Street, Leominster, MA, on Friday, June 7, 2024, at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Saint Leo Cemetery, 360 Lancaster Street, Leominster, MA, 01453.
