Carlos Harry Rivera Capó, affectionately known to many as "The Hot Wheels Guy," was born on May 19, 1972, in Arroyo, Puerto Rico, and passed away peacefully on July 14, 2026, in Leominster, Massachusetts, with his loving wife and family by his side.

In the days leading up to his passing, Carlos found great comfort and peace in being surrounded by those he loved most. He was blessed to spend precious time with family who traveled from near and far to be by his side, sharing stories, laughter, prayers, and cherished memories. Their presence brought him immense peace and was a final reminder of the deep love that surrounded him throughout his life.

Carlos will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering strength, generous spirit, and the love he gave so freely. He lived a life centered on faith, family, and compassion, touching countless lives with his generosity, humor, and infectious smile.

Known throughout the community as "The Hot Wheels Guy," Carlos had a lifelong passion for Hot Wheels, die-cast vehicles, and collectible toys. What began as a hobby became a dream fulfilled when he opened Daphy Dragonfly, his beloved toy store. More than a business, it was a place where collectors, families, and children came together to share in the joy and nostalgia that Carlos loved so much. Seeing smiles on others' faces through his passion was one of his greatest accomplishments.

Above all else, Carlos's greatest love was his wife and soulmate, Mary J. Rivera. Although their time together was far too short, it was filled with a love beyond measure. Their marriage was built on friendship, unwavering devotion, laughter, and a bond that will endure forever.

Carlos also cherished his family. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, caring son, cherished brother, uncle, and loyal friend. His love and guidance will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary (Joyce) Rivera, her children and grandchildren whom he adored; his father, Carlos Harry Rivera Urrutía whom he held dear to his heart; his children, Jean Carlos Rivera Cubano, Carolline Carla Rivera Cubano, and Gabrielle Alani Rivera Cacciatore; his cherished grandson, Aiden Elian Cardona Rivera; his brothers, who were also his best friends, Carlos Enrique Rivera Capó and his wife, Hazel Casanova Fuentes, and Carlos Luis Rivera Capó and his wife, Lucy Marie Sierra Hernandez; and his beloved nephews, Julian Rivera Casanova and Elian Rivera Sierra.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Jenny Capó Merced, whose love remained in his heart throughout his life.

Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that Carlos left this world surrounded by love. His legacy lives on through his family, his friends, his beloved Daphy Dragonfly, and the countless lives he touched with his kindness, generosity, and passion.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to celebrate the life of Carlos Harry Rivera Capó on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home, located at 106 West Street, Leominster, Massachusetts.

All who knew and loved Carlos are welcome to attend as we gather to honor his life, share memories, and celebrate the remarkable legacy of a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, friend, and our cherished "Hot Wheels Guy."
