Carole Marie (Nowak) Storro, born on March 13, 1941, in Worcester, Massachusetts was welcomed home to be with our Lord and Savior on April 20, 2025, after a brief illness.
Carole was the only child of William J. Nowak and Marie Rita (Flagg).
Carole dedicated over 30 years of her life as a first-grade teacher in Lunenburg, Massachusetts. Carole and her husband Ron had a passion for travel and she meticulously documented the photos of the numerous journeys that they shared.
She was an avid reader, cherished her flower gardens and had a vast collection of dessert recipes, which she delighted in baking for family and friends, particularly during the holiday season. Her gentle nature, kindness and sense of humor were treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a woman of faith and lifelong member of the Catholic Church.
Carole was predeceased by her husband, Ronald E. Storro. She was deeply loved and will be remembered fondly by her sons and their families: Ron & Kim Storro, Greg & Kathy Storro, Todd & Jackie Storro and Ryan & Carole Storro, as well as her nine grandchildren and their families, which include twelve great-grandchildren.
Carole had a fondness for birds and a special love for all dogs. Please omit flowers and in lieu, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her memory to the Mass Audubon Society, located at 208 S. Great Road, Lincoln, MA 01773.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 1st from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Richardson Funeral Home, 106 West Street in Leominster MA. A funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am at Holy Family of Nazareth Parish, 750 Union Street, Leominster, MA. Burial will be private.
