LEOMINSTER --- Charlene L. (Gaillardet) Davis, 88 years old of Leominster, died Saturday, August 5, 2023 in Sterling Village.
Charlene was born February 6, 1935 in Leominster, MA, the daughter of Robert and Eva (Cormier) Gaillardet. She leaves 2 sons, Jeffrey P. Davis of Leominster, and Todd J, Davis and his wife Katherine of Fort Myers, Florida. She also leaves 5 grandchildren, Morgan Davis, Alex Macklin, Matthew Davis, Emily Davis and Robert Davis and 4 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Davis, son Gary R. Davis and by her two brothers, Paul Gaillardet and Robert Gaillardet.
Charlene graduated from St. Bernard's High School in 1953. She worked as a teller at Merchants Bank and as the cafeteria manager at St. Leos School, later going to work at Digital in Littleton. She was a member of St Cecilia's Church in Leominster and the Daughters of Isabella.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Sterling Village for all the care Charlene received.
A funeral mass for Charlene will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at 10am in St Cecilia's Church, 180 Mechanic St. Leominster. A calling hour will precede the funeral from 8:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. Donations in her memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
