LUNENBURG----Charles Michael St. George, 58 years old of Lunenburg, died Thursday, November 19, 2015 in his home after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Deborah (Gariepy) St. George, 3 daughters Serena Sawyer and her husband Christopher Sawyer of Pelham, NH, Corinne St. George of Templeton and Stephanie St. George of Lunenburg, his mother Victoria Dellamonica of Rome, Italy, his stepfather Joseph Chiminiello of Lunenburg, 3 sisters Joan Fontaine of Lunenburg, Donna Marchionni of Italy and Michelle Holman of Lunenburg, a grandson Christopher Charlie Sawyer of Pelham, NH, nieces and nephews.
Charles was born August 12, 1957, son of Victoria Dellamonica and the late Antonio San Georgio and had lived in Lunenburg most of his life. He graduated from Lunenburg High School in 1975 and received an Associates Degree from the University of Hartford. Charles had worked at New England Wooden Ware in Gardner. He was a member of St. Cecilia’s Church in Leominster. Charles enjoyed golfing, gardening, playing horseshoes, darts, pool, bocce, fishing and loved camping with his family. He was an avid Bruins, Red Sox and Patriots fan.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 10 am in St. Cecilia’s Church, 180 Mechanic Street, Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Cecilia’s Cemetery, Leominster. Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 27th from 5-8 pm in the Silas F. Richardson & Son Funeral Home, 106 West Street, Leominster.
