There are no
goodbyes for us. Wherever
You are You will always be in my
heart because where I go, you
go and where you go,
I go.
Cheryl A. Floyd, 76, of Jaffrey, NH, passed peacefully in her sleep on May 29, 2023 after many courageous medical battles.
She was born on August 31, 1946 in Leominster, MA to Janet & Charles Floyd. Cheryl graduated from Leominster High School and Mount Wachusett Community College. Her greatest accomplishment was her family. She was a devoted mother, nana, great nana, sister and aunt. She was her grandsons’, great grandson’s & great granddaughter's biggest fan. It didn’t matter the season, sport, or occasion, she was always there to support them. We all loved her singing Happy Birthday calls, regardless if we picked up the phone, and that special card she picked just for you, countless summer days on the beach that ended watching the sun set, skipping rocks, Nana the Easter bunny, a fresh bag of Twizzlers, the Perfect Christmas tree, Jitterbug lessons in the kitchen, summer birthday parties, sister sleepovers at the Cape & trips to the North Shore, mother-daughter concerts, nana’s special fudge & Chex Mix, the Gilmore girls, her famous apple-blueberry pie, weekends with her sister eating at Debi’s Diner, and her beloved Minnie Girl. She leaves behind great memories and so much love for us to look back and smile about.
She leaves her children Tracy Cefole, Michael & David Frick; her sister Debi Cormier and niece Krista Cormier; grandchildren Michael, Christopher & Nicholas Cefole, Evan & Andrew Frick; and great-grandchildren Samuel & Natalie Cefole and many dear friends.
Funeral & burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Cheryl’s memory to The American Cancer Society, The American Heart Association, Lewy Body Dementia Association or an animal shelter of your choice.
